Imagine what will survive after our planet can no longer sustain human life – which flora and fauna will remain? Continuing the themes from my Borderlands panoramas and Anthropocene photogram sculptures imagining the future after the Anthropocene era has devastated the planet Earth through human caused climate change. The Seaweed images are from Cape Cod and the Thistle images are from Colorado. Both of these flora are survivors and will probably outlive humanity.

WHAT REMAINS Behind the Scenes Photographs
Colorado is a desert and there is not enough water to be doing wet chemical photography. The chemicals are bad for the septic system too. There were similar issues at Cape Cod. What can I do when I can’t do wet darkroom work? So, like the flora which will survive the destruction of our environment I had to be resourceful and make photograms with the Lumen printing technique that does not require immediate processing. The processing was done weeks later after returning to NJ.
Below are details cropped from the full lumen prints.
