Montclair Windows shows MANUAL

544 Bloomfield Avenue Montclair NJ
Manual Project on Bloomfield Avenue

Big news – four huge prints selected from the MANUAL PROJECT hand portraits have been installed in the windows of 544 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair NJ.  As part of a collaboration between the Montclair Arts Council and the Montclair Business Improvement District and participating property owners, vacant storefronts will be turned into display spaces for artists.

Four of my hand portrait images were selected as the first installation: the wet plate collodion photographs of the hands of Orestes Gialanella, John Lewis, Dorothy Godlewski, and John Lewis were output 54″ wide and 68″ high for installation in the storefront which is on the south side of Bloomfield Avenue west of Park Street.  The property is owned by Grabowsky Development which is loaning the windows until the property is rented.
