My work in the darkroom was greatly influenced by music. I always had music playing. Usually rock and roll, but also jazz and classical occasionally. Because I didn’t want to be interrupted while working to turn over the records I used a reel-to-reel tape deck which provided an hour and a half of music before needing attention to turn over the tape. Later I had a big collection of CDs. I still have over 200 vinyl LPs.
