The opening reception has been rescheduled for Thursday February 3 2011 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. I plan to be there from 5:30 until 7:30 pm.

Four of my tintypes are in the Working In Wonder show at the Walsh Gallery at Seton Hall University from January 18 through February 11th 2011. The opening reception is Thursday February 3rd from 5 until 9 pm. Also in the show is work by Lasse Antonsen, Paul Baumann, Kathy Goodell, Tracy Heneberger, Heidi Jenses, Susan Napack, Roberto Osti, Lisa Perrin, Michael Sherwin, Paul Stout, David K. Thompson and Kimberly Witham.

The show which is about the collecting of natural objects, like the cabinets of curiosities of the past, was curated by Edward Stapley-Brown, Erin Gray, and Danielle Schallom.

On Saturday February 5th from 10am to 5pm there is a symposium “Modern/Contemporary Art and the Curiosity Cabinet.” The keynote speaker is Lawrence Weschler.
