I rode the Tour de Tahoe in September 2012 to celebrate my upgrade to version 6.0.  It is a gorgeous ride, 72 miles, not too tough – one big early climb around Emerald Bay and another 4 mile climb that is not steep on the Nevada side.  Here is a photo of me with Emerald Buy in the background.  Lake Tahoe is one of the most gorgeous places on earth.  Unfortunately the roads aren’t suitable for riding without the group.  The support for the TdT was excellent.  Lisa rode the 35 mile version which included a boat ride across the lake from the start to the north end of the lake where her ride began.
