While solitary work was important I needed some human interaction and often that came from online communities. In the early days of the internet it was on Compuserve where I forged virtual friendship and communicated with other photographers. There were no pictures, just text. Imagine just green letters on a black screen. Eventually a new forum became available. Photonews.net was created by NY photographers Gary Gladstone and Jack Reznicki. It was a lively community of professional photographers from all over the US.
