Come to the 2011 AIPAD Photography Show at the Park Avenue Armory to see CRICKETS – my new book collaboration created with the amazing book maker Leonard Seastone. I will be showing the book at Charles Schwartz Ltd. – Booth 216. I Plan to be on hand most of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday March 17-19. The Armory is at 643 Park Avenue at 67th Street in NYC.

CRICKETS is a limited edition hand made book of poems about mysterious the little insects, with an ambrotype glass plate in the cover and the interior letterpress poems are printed directly on the salted paper prints made from other glass plate negatives. We are making a very limited edition of the book, probably just 10 books due to the complexity of the design. You can see some of the process in two earlier blog posts: “How to Make Crickets” and how we made the salted paper prints.

The show is open 11am to 7pm Thursday through Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.
